DIGITS is the idea that numbers define who we are. For this project I explore the concept of identity and how it relates to numbers through three large prints and a motion graphic. In the future, I think the phrase you’re just a number will become more prevalent. We are defined by various numbers such as our social security number, our birthdays, our weight, our age, our phone numbers etc. We categorize aspects of our identity into a numbers that we become like so many others I think this may be true in the future where our identities aren’t unique to ourselves. The greater number the greater influence you have, numbers can be very powerful and affect how we live our lives, we constantly are consumed by the meaning a number takes. It is integrated into our daily lives we don’t think twice about it.
